This Ikat inspired screen print was motivated by the fuzzy lines often displayed in Ikat designs.

It is noticeably “Ikat” but has a modern twist using a new vase shape.

Intrigued by the difference between hazy lines and soft brush strokes, both were used to complement each other.

This piece has brown pigment on yellow-brown cotton gauze.

As for final use, this fabric would work well as curtains in a living room as shown in my digital hand drawing.
