Sergenian's Rug Design

Named a finalist in the 2020 Sergenian’s Rug Design Competition, I created a two-colorway rug inspired by my late grandfather and his distinctive handwriting. By digitally tracing, distorting, and abstracting handwritten words that held personal significance, I transformed a cherished memory into a contemporary textile design.
